DANONE, one of the largest dairy food and water producers worldwide, implemented NeoGrid Retail Intelligence (RI) solution, enabling easy retrieval of all sales transaction data for its products in a more dynamic way and linking together information from all players in the company's entire supply chain.
Danone implemented the solution together with more than 20 business partners and large retail chains that work with dairy products, linking all together to achieve the same business goal.
"The great innovation brought by this tool was direct communication with the field. Today we automatically receive sales information with very little delay. When a store is close to running out of stock, I send an email to a sales representative for that region to inform him or her about the situation at a store, so he will act on those SKUs," says Fernando Gonçales, Danone Brazil Operations Manager.
