Neogrid announces new CEO

Neogrid, a company specialized in supply chain management solutions, announces this Monday, February 7th, the hiring of Jean Carlo Klaumann as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The selection of the executive is in line with the accelerated growth strategy designed by Neogrid for the coming years.

“Jean fits the profile we were looking for: a highly regarded professional in the technology market, with experience in companies that showed significant growth, and with experience from strategic planning to execution,” says Miguel Abuhab, founder and chairman of Neogrid’s Board of Directors.

Abuhab also points out that Klaumann has deep knowledge in executive management and technology applied to the retail ecosystem, with two IPOs and experience in more than 30 acquisitions. “This will be essential to help us develop new products, improve the level of service for our customers and continue the expansion plan, generating value for our company and shareholders,” he adds.

In his career, Klaumann has held leadership positions for more than 25 years at IFS, Oracle, Datasul and Totvs, the last 11 years at Linx. He has a degree in marketing, a Global Executive MBA at FIA, certification as a counselor at IBGC and an extension course in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Chicago. Currently, he also serves as a guest professor at the FIA Executive MBA program.

“I am very excited about this new cycle together with the Neogrid team. Global collaboration and data agendas, enabling business ecosystems to deliver greater efficiency and productivity, place Neogrid in a place of huge opportunities. We have an incredible portfolio and success stories in the most competitive markets in the world, which prove our ability to generate real value for our customers,” says Klaumann.

The change in executive leadership at Neogrid has been planned since October last year, when Eduardo Ragasol, current CEO, informed the company’s Board of Directors that, for personal reasons, he decided to return to Mexico in 2022.

Jean Carlo Klaumann will take over the position on March 1st.
